KALAMAZOO, Mich. — Stockbridge Avenue between Crosstown Parkway and Portage Street had bike lanes installed in June 2021.
Kalamazoo said the bike lanes would help connect the Vine neighborhood and the Edison neighborhood. It would also route directly to the Kalamazoo River Valley Trail in coordination with the renovations of the Kalamazoo Farmers Market and Bank Street.
The new bike lane would be 5-feet wide and provide safer access for bicyclists.
