Ride Route Maps

Route Maps for KBC Members Available at Ride with GPS – a benefit of KBC membership

Popular Bike Routes (PBR) Map

With the Road Commission of Kalamazoo County (RCKC) and the Kalamazoo Area Transportation Study (KATS), KBC mapped roads club members frequently ride in Kalamazoo County.  The Popular Bike Routes (PBR) map (yes, that’s a link to the map) can be viewed on any smart phone (or laptop, etc) to find most of the best roads for riding in Kalamazoo County and a bit beyond.  You can magnify the map to reveal street/road names or zoom out for a view of the region.

This map is a work in progress.  When the map is opened in Google, the location icon can be toggled to reveal your current location anywhere on the map.  The device you’re using to view the map must have GPS capability for the location feature to function.  Constructive criticism, including suggestions for additional routes (or removal of routes), is welcome.  Please submit comments/suggestions to Paul Sotherland.

Publicly Available Route Maps

Maps below show routes the club has used. Some are still in use, others have changed over the years. If road conditions make the route unusable, please notify the KBC Webmaster so that route maps can be edited or removed.

And, if you are interested in creating some gravel routes of your own, here is a link to a wonderful resource when planning your next gravel ride.
