Spring 2018 Ride Leader Summit

Tandems, Trailers, and Tag-alongs Ride

Tandems, Trailers and Tag-alongs: A mellow Sunday afternoon family ride on the Kal-Haven Trail. Meet at 1:30 p.m. each Sunday in May, June, July and August for an out-and-back trail ride. No traffic, no getting lost, and no getting dropped. The leaders will ride west for about 45 minutes, then turn around and catch other riders on the way back to the parking lot. Meet at the Kal-Haven Trailhead on 10th St. Single bikes are welcome, too!

Bike Camp – Memorial Day Saturday Ride

The Bike Camp session – at 8:30 a.m. on May 26th, Saturday of Memorial Day weekend – will be group rides that start at Texas Township Park.  These rides will help Bike Campers become familiar with some of the routes followed on KBC’s Monday Nite Rides while continuing to develop better bike handling skills in groups and enhancing endurance. As usual, helmets are required (as are bicycles, of course), just like they are for all other Saturday morning sessions.

October WNR at 5:30 pm

KBC Club Rides in October begin at 5:30 pm.  Go to Club Rides for descriptions of rides usually available.  Attendance at Club Rides in October tends to drop as temperatures and available daylight decline.  Many of the usual pace-groups will likely not have Ride Leaders.  So, please plan ahead and form new pace-groups when necessary.
