KBC Friday Morning Women’s Ride – 9:30a Start in May

Friday Morning Women’s Ride rolls out at 9:30am in May from Texas Drive Park. This ‘no drop’ ride goes for 22-27 miles on mixed terrain roads in Kalamazoo and Van Buren counties and averaging 15-16 mph. Go to https://www.kalamazoobicycleclub.org/rides/club-rides/ for more details.

Pace Line Training Ride @ MNR 6:15

Scott Baron will be leading paceline training rides on alternate Mondays and Wednesdays. The plan is to work on paceline skills. The paceline-experience levels of riders will range from novice to experienced.
This ride is geared towards people who are experienced riding in groups and with a fitness level to maintain an average, in a group, of 17-18 mph over 25-30 miles. Please have a functioning bike computer- it helps.
We will be working on communication, etiquette, bike handling, steady-pace riding, and fun. We are not racing! These are provisional ‘no-drop’ rides.

September MNR at 5:45 pm – CANCELLED until further notice

KBC Club Rides in September begin at 5:45 pm.   Go to Club Rides for descriptions of rides usually available.  As temperatures drop and days shorten, attendance at Club Rides tends to wane.  So, some of the usual pace-groups may not have Ride Leaders.  Please plan ahead and be flexible if Ride Leaders are not available for your pace-group.
